CAD Technician – Fast-Track Career Progression

What You’ll Do

  • Create and develop technical designs for sports construction projects
  • Produce 2D and 3D construction drawings, including cut & fill models, drainage plans, fencing, and floodlighting
  • Generate rendered visualisations for client presentations and project approvals
  • Carry out volume calculations and interpret survey data
  • Apply SuDS principles and ensure all designs comply with industry standards
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and site teams
  • Identify training and software needs to strengthen design capabilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven CAD Technician experience (construction/civil engineering experience preferred)
  • Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience in 3D modelling and rendered visualisations (Civil 3D, SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
  • Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and SuDS principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Motivated to take ownership of projects and develop into a senior role
  • Full UK driving licence
